Is it really free?
Yes — the base plan is free forever. No card required, no trial countdown. Premium adds Split Mode, wellness scores, and insights, but the basics never get gated.
How is my data stored?
Sumptus uses Apple or Google sign-in only. We don't collect personal data — no name, no email, no phone number. We store an opaque ID that links your expenses to your account, and database triggers scrub provider data on every insert. Zero PII, by design.
How does billing work?
Premium is handled through Apple App Store or Google Play. Monthly auto-renew. Cancel anytime from your device subscription settings — Apple and Google process refunds per their policies.
What happens if I uninstall?
Your data stays in the cloud, tied to your OAuth ID. Reinstall and sign in to restore everything. To delete permanently, use Settings → Account → Deactivate inside the app.
Does it work offline?
No. Sumptus needs an internet connection — there is no local database. This keeps your phone storage clean and ensures every device sees the same data.
